Wild One

It was a wild week out here in the mission field! It was transfers at the start of teh week and since then it was packed full of stuff. I got two new companions which has been a blast. Elder Jones came the night before so we went with elder Perazzo to say goodbye to people in the ward. It was sad to see him go.. RIP Elder Perazzo but he's in Rock Springs now (The Promised Land) so he'll be alright. Elder Jones and I had the trainer meeting wednesday and that is when we picked up our 3rd Companion Elder Peterson. This is his reassigned mission. His actual missions is in brazil so that is way cool.

 

 

Nothing to exciting happend this week it was pretty lowkey, we are preparing for a big social media initiative so we were worling on that this week as well as the usal socail media stuff. Our area got split in half so we are working in the wards we cover now more closely which is good. Sunday was packed in teh mornign we had churhc adn got to meet so many different members which was awesome. LIfe out here is still dandy it is getting colder now so that is kinda noice. OHH and we had 3 flat tires this week.. YAAY!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
