Heat

Heyo! It's been a good week, we had lots happening of course which is always great. But man it has been SOOO hot. Like way to hot for me... It's good though cause its better than the cold. In my opinion anyway plus it's just nice to be outside.

 

 

We filmed a new video which was lots of fun we brainstormed tee heck outta an idea we had and went with it. We had anther companionship help film and it worked out pretty good. So stay tuned for that. We love making videos its been cool to learn videography and how stuff works. I still think photography is better but that's just me. Haha! We also had quite a bit of service this week which always makes me happy. We got out and helped some people in their yard. This one lady had a big branch fall into her yard so we helped chop it up and throw it in the dumpster. A couple moves and good times there. I feel like I've moved more people in the last 4 weeks than I have my whole mission... It's good though the more we are out the better.

 

 

On top of all this good news I have even more exciting news. This week I got a message from a friend who we were working with in Rose Park. Hemi who we were teaching up there who moved out of our area was getting baptized on Saturday! So I got to watch his baptism over zoom. That was the coolest thing ever. I was in the middle of a move just popped my headphones in and participated in the baptism. YAY TECHNOLOGY!! That was the highlight of the week.

 

 

Got anther busy one ahead of us which is good. We had interviews and just the usual meetings last week to on top of everything. Today we are gonna hike and get outside so till be awesome!! Stay safe out there(:

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
