The Grind

Hey! Well it certainly has been another week of grinding and getting down on the nity gritty. Not much has changed the state just announced that we will be in qaurintine for another month so may 1st will be when we re evaluate the situation i guess? Who knows I'm just taking it day by day out here.

 

 

Nothing to crazy happened I mean we sat in our apartment. Called people. That was good. Had alot of meetings and video chats too so thats nice as well. We have Ruth on date for the 25th so that's exciting. We only kinda know her from the few phone calls we've had. Other than that we haven't met her in person which is weird. But it's okay. Ashley is someone else we are working with and she is so close to baptism it's awesome. She just is wanting to have her husband baptize her so we are working on that with her. She'll definitely be on date soon. Darn corna tho messin with everything.

 

 

Dont stop us though! Always a way around it somehow. But yea we've just been plugging along. The week went by surprisingly fast. We had a few mission meetings which helped out. Not sure if there's anything note worthy. I cut Elder Cerdas' hair this week. That was fun. Mine is way long. That's cool. We've been delivering mail to all the missionaries that's been keeping us sain. So that's nice too. But yea I'm good and finding joy in the little things!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
