Back At It Again

Hey what's up everyone! Can't believe we hit another week in quarantine. Wow. That's wild to think about. So weve got one more down for the count. Many more to go? I sure hope not. It's gorgeous outside and I just wanna get out. But this was the week.

 

 

When I think about what happened all that comes to mind is being inside the apartment... Lame. That's okay though cause we did alot of that. But we started going to a church building to call people. YAAY! highlight of the week ladies and gentlemen we got to be in a church building. Wohoo yay quarantine. Let's see we had zone conference on Thursday! Pretty much a super long meeting that we have expect it was all over video call... Yea 6 hours in a video call. It was wild. Longest call ever. BUT I learned alot so that's a bonus. We got more training on Facebook things like that.

 

 

This week could be summed up in alot of trying but not alot of success? Unfortunately. We made lots of calls to set up appointments and things like that but not to much luck. Just lots of meetings. So that kinda sucks. One of the super solid people we were teaching fell completely off the face of the world which is sad. Hope she's okay. Her phone like got shut off and well if that happens then we're screwed. So that was sad. Still no contact with Ruth. She was on date for baptism then never answered the phone. Also sad. But it's life these days! Hanging in there and cooking some dank meals. Made some dang good orange chicken yesterday.

 

 

So ya that's the week. Hope your quarantine experience is going better! And your staying sane that's the important part!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
