Rona Virus Update

Well we keep getting hit by this darn virus but that doesn't stop the Lords missionaries!! We are still going sting out here (trying to anyway)

 

 

So much has happened in the last few days it's rediclous SO I'm gonna try my best to update you on everything that's happened. Pretty much life was normal last week up until Wednesday, that's when crap hit the fan and life went everywhere. Literally.

 

 

We were helping with some service in the bishops store house Tuesday and Wednesday for a few hours each day. That was gonna be the week pretty much but that changed really quick. Wednesday we get a email saying transfers will be moved to Friday. They get pushed forward about 5 days.. So big change. Thursday I found out I was leaving my area and Friday morning we drove missionaries luggage around and got me to my new area in Rose park! Thursday was a chill packing and such day. But Friday was non stop. We can't get help from anyone so the whole mission has to transport people and luggage. We did that then settled in.

 

 

I got out with two other elders. Elder Jeung from South Korea and Elder Flinders from America who goes home in 5 days (that's why there was 3 of us) Well that didn't last because we got a call later Friday that all the foreign missionaries except Canadians were going home. Elder Jeung left the next day and we pretty much had to re arrange all the companionships because we lost 20+ missionaries. Long story short I'm with Elder Wood now who goes home on Thursday and I'll be getting another new companion.

 

 

So that's been life. They've tightened up the qaurintine now As well. We pretty much need a really good reason to be out and about. So we can't be with any other missionaries now. That's sad. But in the up not we are teaching lots and working hard still! Keeping up the sprirts when it's hard to be down. So that's good. We are hanging in there. I'm healthy and happy so don't stress. Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
