Wow...

Hey guys!!

 

 

What a week it has been, it's been sooo nice out till today. Crazy part is it like dumped snow like crazy today. So fun stories ahead.

 

 

Start of the week has been beautiful like tshirt weather so that's been fun. Just out enjoying the sunshine. Had interviews which were good and then we had exchanges too! I went to another area which was cool. They cover a big area and don't have a car... Yea so that was rough. We were looking for some people that were previously taught by the missionaries to find ourselves under the freeway... Yea that was an adventure! Got to ride the public transit alot. 1st time for everything!

 

 

Thursday and Friday were pretty typical days. Still got the nice weather going so life was good! Friday we had quite an amazing experience. We felt like we should go visit and member family that was near by. We hadn't heard from them in a while. Got to see them and turns out they've been doing through some tough times and had some deep questions. It was amazing because we got to testify and invite them to act and find out for themselves the answers to these questions. I know it's kinda vague but it was a very spiritual experience.

 

 

Saturday and Sunday was great we went on exchanges which was lots of fun! Got to be with Elder Heath. He's a great guy, learned lots from him. But yea leads us to yesterday. So we were under the impression that we weren't going to have PDay till Thursday due to the temple trip that was planned. We woke up with 2-3 feet of snow on the ground. No biggey right? Nah we find out around 10 that our whole week was bout to be flipped. So part of our PDay was yesterday and part is today. Yea... And to make it even more interesting we couldn't drive anywhere. All the cars were grounded. So yesterday was chill. Didn't do much. But yea that's the week. Got a busy one ahead! Have a good one!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
