Turkey Day

Hello everyone! It has been another great week. It's  been way to cold though. Even though we have a car I've just been a wimp I guess haha.

 

 

But let's get some highlights from the week! So  Wednesday we had some good lessons. We went to temple square which is  always a fun time. We brought Desiree and her mom to see the temple and  it was amazing. Spirit is always strong there. She  really liked it which was good and we are preparing for baptism this  Saturday! Woohoo! We are so excited for her. So that's been a good thing  this week.

 

 

Thursday was Thanksgiving which was great... But SO much  food. We had a lunch and a dinner which was nice because it was spread  out so I didn't explode. Expect in the evening we got invited to have  some pie... There was 16 different kinds so  there was a lot to try. They were all good! So I left with an extra full  belly.

 

 

Friday and Saturday were busy as usual because we have  lots of meetings and things. We brought Nate to a baptism in the area  which was super fun. He is way cool. It's been awesome building a  relationship with him and his family. So we got to  depen our relationship there.

 

 

Sunday was pretty cool too. Lots of church meetings  though which is kinda rough. Plus it was fast Sunday which was made it  just a little longer. I'm not always the happiest when I'm hungry...  Haha but we made it through it though.

 

 

Honestly it was good week. Wednesday was transfers so we  got a bunch of new missionaries in the zone so that's exciting. But  life is good! Have a good week.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
