Pure Stress..

So this week has been absolutely crazy. We had so much happening and so much going on. It has just been ahhhhh. But in the end it was good. So Monday night we got like the worst text possible. Desiree bishop who was a Ning on getting baptized said she wanted to explore other church's and cancel the baptism... Ya rough.. So we were torn like my heart hurt, so we tried talking to her about it and nothing. For the next couple days even. We didn't hear back from her till Thursday when our ward mission leader set up a lesson. But before I get to the end let me explain this.

 

 

So earlier about Wednesday we met with the assistant to the president to get trained on how to set goals and make plans.. Yall know I could use some of that haha. Anyway it was super good and we sat down and talked about Desiree. We ended up planning out the week like she was going to get baptized. So we did it all in faith. I was wavering a bit tbh but I knew it could happen because thus is God's work. So back to Thursday...

 

 

We get over to the lessons dm finally get to sit done and talk to her about what's been going on. We guessed on what we thought happened and turns out we were right. She got a bunch of anti stuff thrown at her and so she was doubting it all. So we sat done and talked about it. She was wanting to go to another church and so in the end we basically said go try it out. We know you'll come back because this is God's true and living church in the earth. Then we got up and left it at that. Get this..

 

 

She texts us THAT NIGHT and asked us if the baptism could still happen. Yea it was crazy. Then began the crazy planning and preparation for it all. And in the end it worked out!! So that was exciting. We ending up having the baptism. WAY stressful but good. So that was fun. Then she almost missed her confirmation... Yea she works crazy hours so we went with a member and banged on the door and woke her up. So that was fun. But really a great week. Lots happened. Oh and I got sick... That hadn't been fun. Feeling better today though. Anyway it was a eventful week.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
