Merry Christmas

Well another week here in the mission has come and gone. I've been doing great though it was an eventful week!

 

 

Nate got baptized this week which was so cool! Basically all we did Saturday was baptisms. HECK YEA, we went to one at 11 woth Nate and Tayshara then had his at 4 then we helped out with another one at out building at 7. So that was super cool. The baptism was amazing though. So much of his family came to support him in his decision. It was amazing to meet the rest of the family. We love Nate and Tayshara alot. They are so cool. We get along really well. Maybe to well.... But that's okay. If we aren't laughing then somethings up. But that was our Saturday.

 

 

We also got to help out with the Giving Machines this week. That was super cool. If you haven't heard of them google it cause they are so cool. We got to talk to lots of people that way! So that was fun. Getting us in the Christmas spirit for sure! It's weird though cause last yeta I was doing them with my trainer... AHH

 

 

But other than that it was a pretty typical week of laughter and some goofing off with my companion. We are way to close in a good way I guess? It's hilarious, we have a hoot and a half.

 

 

With Christmas coming up I would just invite everyone to reflect on what the Savior means to you. Because He means everything to me. Especially during this season we are usually drawn to ponder on these things. The amazing thing is that Christ lives today! He loves us and wants to help us. Do we allow Him to? Do we turn to him when we are in need. I would invite you to turn to Him always.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
