Nepali Food

Hello hello! It's been another week and this time I'm gonna let you know what's been happening. Yea sorry about last week.. The weeks just like blend into a day like literally it's craziness. I feel like I have dementia or something... Anyway I'll try my best to remember whats happening.

 

 

So we had PDay Tuesday so if course it made this week even faster. Wednesday was just a normal day, Thursday was a good day because it was weekly planning. We finally got to sit down and really talk about all the people we are working with. We've ran into some road blocks with some of the people so we were really able to figure out what we needed to do for them. Dinner was amazing to, Navajo tacos!! So good. We also went and taught Nate and Tayshara. That was awesome! We went to temple square and it was a great lesson. They are really learning to recognize the spirit which is awesome. Nate walked into church and said "I felt the power of God" that was super cool.

 

 

Saturday was crazy. We had stake conference which was awesome. We had Elder Nelson there who is the head of the missionary department. So we went to the leadership and general session on Saturday. Desiree Bishop is also someone we are teaching and she is amazing! She same to the Saturday night session of conference because she wasn't going to be able to make it to the Sunday session. She's a trooper. She's had some trials that has brought her to find God and Jesus Christ. She requested a book of Mormon and we started to meet with her. She is awesome!

 

 

We met with Desiree again on Sunday. That was fun we did the lesson at the Ramada with our ward mission leader. Those are always fun. Sunday we had a crazy experience. So we were invited to a Nepali party! One of the members of the ward wanted us to come over. So we went at 4... Yea they fed us a full course meal right before dinner. The pic of the food is attached, it was so good. But we went and ate dinner again... I've never been so full in my life

 

 

Then today has been lots of fun. We went bowling and now we are playing monopoly. Good times! Have a good week!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
