Halloween

Cant believe it's Monday again... Yea ridiculous.

 

 

But hey happy to be here. We've been busy out doing things today. Shopping games and good times really. It's been great so far! We are gonna go play some board games!

 

 

Tuesday we had exchanges! They were great. I got to know Elder Čaňo a bit better. He is from the Check Republic! (I think that's how it's spelt) anyway he's way cool. It like snowed all day. That was rough.. But that's okay I'm Canadian right? So I was in another area for a bit.

 

 

Halloween was fun. Since we are in Utah we get to go to the temple. Cause people dress up as missionaries and do stupid stuff. Yea welcome to Utah, spending the night in the house of the lord was way nice. We were done at 5 on Thursday so that was weird. Didn't do much.

 

 

Friday we did exchanges again! I was in another area which was fun. New faces people and things to do. Had some cool lessons and started to teach some awesome people. The missionary I was with goes home in like 3 weeks. It's ridiculous. Cause 3 weeks have gone by way to quick so he'll be gone before I know it. But it was nice to get to serve with him.

 

Saturday was just busy. Getting everyone to church. We had some people we are teaching drop us though. That was tough. The mo. Yelled at us through the door. In short we aren't to come back ever again. So yea.. That wasn't fun. Definitely what happens when in the city. We have no idea why she did. But that was her choice. Then we had a few other crazy things happen to make it even better. People gone missing OH and I tried Nepali food. That didn't go well... Yea so after dinner we went and visited a Nepali family and they offered us food. I wanted to try some but little did I know how SPICY it is. We had this like curry dish which wasn't bad but then they kept giving us these sides and stuff like red funny looking stuff... Yea I tried a bite and it just burned. Like it hit my stomach and it wasn't good. I finished the food at least. Let's just say my mouth was numb by the end. So yea my tolerance for spicy food is about to be way higher.

 

 

Then Sunday was CRAZY. We had meetings bright and earlier in the morning. So we wake up at 6:30 but at 7 we had meetings then they went all the way till 3. AND it was fast Sunday. It was crazy. So me and my companion finally sat down and we were spent. Like so done. Finally got some food in us and things got better but still. I don't think I've ever been so exhausted before. Like such a different exhaustion. But hey I made it through.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. She is doing amazing. She really has just grown to love the Gospel and she is super ready for the 24th! We even have started to teach her Granddaughter who is interested in learning more. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
