Sommers Baptism

I am just doing amazing to be honest with you all today had just been an amazing day it has been just such a blessing. The Lord has truly blessed us and I can truly say I am feeling the joys of the mission!! And the pains as well but we will get into that later.

To start off the reason I'm so happy and just gleaming with joy is because about an hour ago we had Sommers baptism and it was AMAZING! Man it was just super cool. There wasn't a whole lot of people but the spirit was SO strong it was great! There was some amazing talks and just a really strong family bond was made today and it was the coolest thing ever to see. Man. So happy. It was super cool to see them unite and come together. So that has been today. We are going over to their house tonight and say goodbye because they leave tomorrow for vacation. So that'll be happy and sad.

This week though has been great! We had exchanges this week which were awesome. So because I am district leader I have other elders that I need to kinda be with for a day. So basically we switch companions and we get to learn from them and make sure they are doing good. So we got to do that. I was up in a place called Pinedale for a day. So that was way fun. We also got to to have a meeting with all the missionaries in the area in green river. That was lots of fun. So that was kinda the weekend. Got to build some nice relationships with some cool people out here.

While we were on exchanges me and Elder Alba who is from Mexico experienced the painful part of missions. It's probably not what you'd expect but we were down in Randolph for the day and they had a pancake breakfast. It was pretty awesome. Everyone was super nice. We had just gotten seconds and just about to finish and the guy cooking up pancakes cooked us up some BIG pancakes. They were huge. That also explains the email title. We ate SO Many pancakes it was crazy. We weren't able to finish them all that's for sure but we certainly tried. The picture we got with them is my favorite. My companions face says it all.

But other than that has been a a great week and it has been super busy. Lots going on. This week will be a little slower but that's alright! We have interviews with out mission president and that'll be great. Other than that we are just working hard. We met a really cool guy named Christain. He is super excited and interested in meeting with us. It was so awesome to talk with him finally. We are excited to see him progress.

Other than that it has been pretty good and look forward to what this week holds. I'm loving and enjoying the mission so far and can't believe how fast the time has gone. It's awesome.

Hope you have a great week!!
