Mailing Onions

Man what a week! We just had so much going on its been the best!

 

 

Basically this week has just flew by, I drove down to Salt lake to get my new companion. They trained all the trainers on.. Well how to train. (try saying that 3x fast) and then we met our new companions! His name is Elder Greenwade and he's way cool. When we were finding out who our new companions were it just took me back to when I was getting trained it was wild. Anyway the rest of the day was just driving. Getting to know him and a little bit of work! He's from Farmington New Mexico and is the youngest of three. He reminds me alot like me it's kinda crazy. Anyway he's the best!

 

 

The week consisted of lots of work and learning for sure. We had the craziest miracles from the Lord this week. On Wednesday which was Elder Greenwades first day we had a member from my last area come out and work with us. We meet with some of the people we are teaching and had some powerful lessons. We invited him to come with cause he comes from a similar situation as some of the people we are teaching. So we taught and put two of them on date!! Tina and Diana! It was so cool. Also really nice to see and work with this member again. So that was crazy.

 

 

Then we taught Elise Johnson on Friday and man we had a bomb lesson. The spirit strong and she just really had a desire to know. She's been praying and just really seeking an answer. Elder Greenwade invited her to be baptized and man she is just so close. She said she would pray about it and seek the Lord for an answer. So we are praying too! We know she'll get an answer. We are super excited for her. That was just super cool.

 

 

This past week just really has been full of lots of amazing experiences with the people we are helping come close to Jesus Christ. They really have been trusting in the Lord and seeing great blessings. So that's just been amazing. Elder Greenwade has been a blast to train so far. Its just been great. He honestly came out so prepared he just wants to get out and talk to everyone. Teach and just be really has a fire that he wants everyone to hear the great message we have to share. That's been way cool to see.

 

 

Other than that we've just been busy busy busy! It honestly has been a little stressful with training but that's alright I'm just learning how to deal with more and more stress. That's life right? Haha things are great and I'm super grateful for the time I have to serve the Lord. The time has been going by fast but it has been a blessing!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
