Happy Canada Day!
This past week has been a little Rocky to be honest but we made it through and all is well.
On Tuesday I wasn't feeling good at all... I got pretty sick and so I was out for the count for a while. Just got a cold/fever something like that and it wasn't fun at all. I still tried to get some work done and we went out for a little bit but other than that I was done. The cool thing was even though I was sick and we were in for most of the day the Lord still blessed us. At the end of the day we got a phone call from a member and they said that one of their good friends wanted to meet with us! We went over there and talked with them and it went super great but man it was tough but I made it through it.
The next few days were me recovering and getting better. Thursday was pretty cool we got to meet our new mission president!! That was an interesting and great opportunity. President and Sister Prier are great! They are from Texas and they are just really excited to be out here on the mission. I'm pumped to be able to work with them. So that took about the whole day.
Friday I got to have another district council which went great and we went out to the small towns we cover and did some work out there and had some awesome lessons! Sunday was a great day cause we had lots of people at church! We had a family, the Johnson family and man that just made me so happy to hear! Best text ever. It was great. But the rest of the day was lots of fun and we got lots done. Sundays are definitely no longer a day of rest. We are way busy!
Today was super cool cause I got to go golfing!! That was lots of fun and a good time I haven't been able to in a while. Me and my comp just had a blast. The members hooked us up so that was great. But that was how I was able to celebrate Canada day out here and I I'll get to celebrate the 4th of July out here! There will be alot of fire works... It'll be great
Hope you all have a great week!!
