Uhaul Help

Man it has been a great and busy week thus last week it has been awesome! I'm super excited to tell you all about it so I'll just jump right into it.

 

 

This week we had zone conference on Thursday which was amazing! I love zone conference it is where we get to all meet together and learn more a out how we can be effective missionaries and just how to be better disciples of Christ. I definitely learned a lot especially when we got to hear from President Hillier! He is such an amazing man wow. He's a great example and man just always a pleasure to hear from him. Also since we are so far away from everything we had interviews with him as well and man that was super special because this was our last interview with him before he leaves and it just was super powerful and special. Definitely something I'll remember and hold close to me the rest of my life.

 

 

That was basically all day so after that we headed back to our area and did exchanges at the same time so that was great fun! We stayed over at the cabin this time and it was lots of fun. They asked us to dock again... Yea so we gave the new guys a chance to experience the great thing that is docking. Then we went out and got to do some work in the area. I went with Elder Alba! He's fro. Mexico and he's hilarious! It was a great exchange and lots of fun. That took us to Saturday which was a chill day.

 

 

We just were just going around inviting everyone to church and we drove by this Uhaul and as a missionary I've learned to love those things. That means either someones moving in or out and we become the moving crew!! It's great(: so we stopped and asked if we could help. Her name is Andrea and she just was moving in. She had her parent there helping her but they weren't able to do to much so we were a great help. They were real friendly and just super appreciative of the help! It was awesome because they aren't members but really familiar with the church. We exchanged info and are going to see how she's doing this week. We are super excited about it. Her father was just blown away with and very respectful of what we are doing as missionaries so he was wanting to jeep in touch as well. It was so cool. He said "you boys are doing a great work I wanna stay in touch with you" yea we were "the boys" the whole time.

 

 

Sunday was good we didn't have anyone come to church but I got to bear my testimony which is always a blessing to be able to share what I know! Then today just has been a blast we had a big zone activity with a bunch of missionaries! We don't get to see them a whole lot so it was really refreshing to. We played soccer and grilled some Burgers and had lunch it was great fun! Man it was just fun to run around a field even though I don't totally know how to play soccer all that well. BUT I'm learning.

 

 

Overall it's been a great week and we have another busy one ahead of us! We are hoping to have a baptism this Saturday which we are super excited for! Man I can't wait. Susie really wants to get baptized and she is just so amazing! So I'm praying that I have some awesome news for you all next week. Also transfers are coming up so that's gonna be crazy. I'll let you know if I'm staying or going but as of right now it looks like I'll stay.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
