Pushing The Baptism Back

Man this past week has been way to busy but it has been great! So we had exchanges with the zone leaders on Tuesday which was lots of fun I was reunited with a good friend, Elder Stepherson from my last area. So that was great fun. We then went up to a place called Pinedale where some other elders are so we made the 2 drive up there and went on exchanges again. The elders up there needed some help so we got to be up there and help them out. It was great fun but it was quite the drive #ripmiles

 

 

But that was a big chunk of the week going back and forth from there but it was way nice to be out in another area and just be around some other elders it was great fun! We also had a big meeting with all the missionaries in the area and we talked about our areas and learned lots about how we can be better missionary which is always great. So that took us to Saturday.

 

 

We were planning on having a baptism for Susie Weiss and everything was looking good and ready for her baptism. We were super excited and got everything ready for her than we got a message from her and we had to push the baptism back to this coming Saturday. It was what was need though it'll let us have some more time to get everything even more organized so that's super exciting. We also might have a baptism this Thursday which will kinda be all of the sudden but we have been teaching her all week and she has been progressing super well!! We are so excited for her she is so awesome and prepared for baptism. We also will have another amazing person get baptized in the next two weeks. Her name is Brynlee and she is amazing. Her parents started coming back to church and wanted to get her baptized. She is so great and we get to meet with her this week so we are pumped for that. There is just a lot of work happening here in Kemmerer which I am so excited for and excited to see what the Lord has in store for his. He truly is blessing us!

 

 

But it has been great we got transfer calls on Saturday and me and my companion are staying here in Kemmerer which I am way excited for. I also got a call today about a new calling and I have been asked to be the District Leader out here. Basically I am over a group of missionaries and help them out so it'll be fun. A new experience for sure but I get to help out others which I am excited for!!

 

 

Today we did a tour of a museum here in town and got to learn all about the history here in Kemmerer! There is so much it is super cool to get to learn all about it!

 

 

It has been way busy though and we will have another busy week coming up. Hope you all have a great week!!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
