Brynlee's Baptism

Man it has been an absolute whirlwind these past few days... It's been great

 

 

It's only been 5 or so days but man so much has happened!! So the temple was great and man I just loving getting to go there. We stayed at the mission home where our mission president and wife live. It was the last time they'd be having us missionaries over at their place. We had a big meal and just got to talk with them and just relax. That was super special. There was just a big house full of elders!!

 

 

The next day we had zone conference which was the last one with our old mission president. It was great! And very sad. They are amazing people and it has been tough to say goodbye but it's kinda inevitable so I just gotta suck it up I guess. We got to take pictures with them and we all got to say goodbye with a hug or "squeeze" as our mission presidents wife says. It was a special moment and sad. So many emotions all at once ahhh!! But I'm excited for our new mission president and wife. They'll be great and I look forward to getting to know them. That was all day Thursday basically and followed a long drive home.

 

 

Saturday was a real amazing day!! Brynlee got baptized. It was great!! Super spiritual and was a real uplifting experience. They had lots of family come and support her and the room was packed which was great. Sunday was awesome as well. We stayed with a super amazing family and went to church in Brynlees ward. My companion was able to give her the amazing gift of the Holy Ghost!! That was great. It was funny because after she was confirmed we went to shake her hands and she just bolted back to mom and dad. It was quite funny! But that was Sunday, we had lunch with a family and traveled bskc home.

 

 

Then today we went fishing again!! That was great fun!! We went with a recently returned missionary and I caught a real nice fish!! 19 inches! It tasted way good. We grilled it up and man it was great. So cool to see it from the lake to the grill to my belly! But that was my busy week. It's just been great and the Lord really has been blessing us and we have seen our hard work pay off.

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
