Transfer News

Hey everyone!! Hope you are all doing well and had a great week(:

Well lots has happened this past week so that's always nice. We got transfer calls on Saturday night and... I'm leaving my area. It's kinda sad but happy at the same time. I've been here in the Winder Stake for the past 6 months and it has been amazing. I wouldn't have asked for a better start to my mission. I've been able to meet so many amazing people. That's the sad part and it'll be the same with areas I get to really know the members because we get to build the relationships then we leave. But that's missionary work. I've also been able to build some awesome relationships with the people we are teaching and I unfortunately won't be here for the rest of the teaching but I am definitely going to try and make it back for their baptisms!! I know the Lord needs me in a different area so I'm okay with it. I'm sure I'll be able to meet some more amazing people.

So unfortunately this past week we weren't able to have the Martinez Family get baptized. We had a lesson with them on Friday and there was still some things that's they needed to do in order to. Be baptized on Saturday. We both just felt really strongly that they needed more time so we talked to them and we pushed it back to the 11th of May so I won't be here but I'm gonna try to make it on the date. Kinda frustrating but hey that's okay they need to be ready when they are so I understand and I am just glad I was able to teach them.

This week we were able to go on exchanges which basically is where we switch companions for 24 hours. It allows us to be able to learn from another person and get to be with out leaders. It was lots of fun and I learned lots. The missionary I was with is actually leaving the area so it was nice to get to spend the the time with him before he leaves. It was pretty fun actually on exchanges we went over to the Byetheway Family and helped them move their treadmill to downstairs. It was great fun. Hard work but hey it was super cool they really appreciated it!

We were by the temple on Wednesday which was lots of fun I LOVE THE TEMPLE. It was also just way nice out so I had to take some pics. Yesterday was busy since I'm leaving there was lots of people I wanted to visit and say goodbye to so that was the majority of our day yesterday which was nice but at the same time sad because it was goodbye for who knows how long. We also had stake conference yesterday which was awesome. The focus of the conference was missionary work and all the talks were amazing. They challenged everyone to have more missionary experiences which is great. Of course right as I leave. Oh well. Anyway it was a great week today has just been full of goodbyes and packing which has been fun and not at the same time hahaha.

Anyway I don't find out where I'm going until tonight so I'll have to let you all know where I'll be serving next week and who my companion is. I know it'll be where I need to be and I'll be able to be put in the path of those that I need to be! Real quick I just feel I should share this with you. I just wanted to let you all know if you ever are going through a tough time and need some strength something that I know will help you is prayer. It really has helped me recently and I know it'll help you. As we pray for strength and guidance from out Heavenly Father he will be there for us. Even if it's been a while He always will be there for you. This scripture is so true and I can promise you that he will answer you as you pray in faith and are willing to act on what you recive(:
