April Fools

I thought it would be a funny prank to not send out an email but in the end I think that would be a not so funny April Fools prank haha!

 

 

Overall this week was a pretty great week! We definitely worked super hard this week and saw some pretty amazing miracles happen! We wanted to have 9 people on date for baptism so we did some planning and goal setting and prepared for everyone individually to help them prepare for baptism! After all the hard work and lessons we had we were able to reach the goal. It was so amazing and we just had some pretty great experiences with everyone we are teaching. They all accepted the invation to be baptized is the coming months and we are so excited for all of them! What a blessing it was to see and a testimony building of the importance of putting our faith and trust in the Lord. As we do that we truly can have great things happen.

 

 

Yesterday was quite a busy and jam packed day for sure. We had lots of church of course and we actually had a family we are teaching make it this week! Man was that a happy moment for us cause we've been working hard to get them over to church. They really enjoyed it and it was just a great blessing. We then didn't have dinner so we contacted someone in the ward and they were kind enough to help us out. We then met some twins that are living there with them and they are the coolest! They are from Haiti and man do they love to do missionary work. Will the boy was super excited to meet with us. He speaks 4 different languages so we thought we'd take him out to meet Yedi who speaks the same language as Will. He was so excited and we set up a time to go out with him. He's only 16 but man it was so awesome to go out and get to know him. For the rest of the night we ended up just going out doing visits and talking with people with Will. It was so great he just loved it and he wants to serve a mission so bad it's the coolest thing. So that was a pretty amazing thing!

 

 

But this week really ended up being a whole lot of teaching and just meeting with and talking with everyone which was nice. We definitely had some powerful lessons with some of the people we are teaching which certainly was a great blessing and I was even able to learn from them and their experiences. I'm certainly excited for this week coming up though mainly because we get to watch General Conference!! This will by my first session that I get to attend live and we are even taking someone we are teaching! We can't wait to get to have them feel the great spirit that will be at the conference centre. This will be a conference to remember though I hope you all have been taking your vitamins! Haha!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
