Birthday Week!

What a weeks it has been it certainly has been a good week though! The weather has been great which is such a bonus for sure!

 

 

This week we had interviews with our mission president which was way awesome!! I love getting to meet with president he is such an amazing guy! What a great opportunity we have to talk with him every transfer and just talk about the work, how we are doing and such. So that was pretty great I always look forward to meeting with him!

 

 

Overall this week was a good week for teaching! We are teaching a guy named Dylan who is SO amazing!! He is super prepared for baptism! We have been working with him for a while now and he is getting closer and closer and even more excited for baptism! Just gets me even more excited for him ahh it's awesome! He is married to a member and wanted to learn more. Man since then he just has really progressed which is way exciting! We also are teaching a family! The Martinez Family is doing great as well! This week we were able to have some really good sit down lessons with them and really teach them the gospel. They have lots of good questions and we are helping prepare them for baptism as well. The tricky thing with them is getting them to church.

 

 

Also yesterday was a special Sunday because I had the opportunity at church to speak with John Bytheway!! It was way cool we last minute we asked to give talks and of course we said yes and after we got there and turns out he was talking to and it was really cool to just speak along side him and have him use part of my talk in his and like elaborate on it. I was just like Woah so that was cool!

 

 

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes on Friday it truly was a special day! I really appreciate it and it was a memorable birthday for sure! I got to go out for lunch with my comp and even have a birthday pancake for breakfast haha that's about it there's only so much you can do on your birthday to celebrate!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
