Superbowl Sunday

Its been a pretty good week this week been really busy for sure! Its transfer week this week and we figured out what's going on but we still don't know where.

 

 

I am staying in the area still for another transfer but my companion is leaving. Unfortunately we are being separated which is going to be tough since we've gotten to be so close but it be good. I've learned that change is good even though it can be hard sometimes. We just need to be ready to accept the change and move forward having faith in what we are doing!

We have visited lots of member since elder Kennedy is saying good bye to everyone so it's been lots of fun seeing everyone! Yesterday being super bowl Sunday we didn't watch the game but we ate like all the food aha! Every single house we went too had food for us so we were stuffed full of food last night!

 

 

We got to go to a baptism on Saturday with our recent convert!! It was super cool experience she was able to remember everything that she did and feel the strong spirit that comes with baptisms. It impacted her in a way that really reminded her of the promise that she made and the amazing experience that it was. It truly strengthened my testimony and to hear hers is just beyond amazing. I absolutely love that and am blessed to be able to hear her testimony.

 

 

I'm excited to see who my new companion is though and what I will be able to learn from him. I've learned so much from him and have been blessed to be with him.

 

 

We had a miracle happen this week that I'd like to share. We were going to an appointment in an apartment complex and we ran into this lady. Her daughter had been through so much recently and she wanted to have her receive a blessing. So we said we'd come back after the lesson and see if they were still home. We went to the lesson and jt fell through no one was there. So we needed another Male in the room and we called a bunch of people in her ward. Nothing. No one answered so we tried our last resort of someone in another ward

They were home and available and came right over. Turned out that this member was the exact right person for this girl and what she had been going through. The member knew what to say and do and jt was so powerful. We gave her a blessing and after the mom said that things that were said in the blessing were things that she exactly what the daughter needed and she hadn't told us details. The Lord blessed us and we were able to know what to say and do. The impact this had on me and the family was so great. The hand of God was there the entire time it had to be. Things led to each moment just so that we could be there. We were put there because of the Lord. We even gave out s book of Mormon to one of the moms friends who isn't a member. I've learned that there isn't coincidences at all but that the Lord will provide a way and reason for everything!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
