Multi Cultural Event

Man this week just flew on by I can't believe that it's already PDay that's for sure. Time on the mission just seems to keep on going by faster and faster!

 

 

Nothing to crazy and out of the ordinary this week it has been a solid week! We did lots of teaching and we're able to find some new people to teach! Somone we are super excited about is someone we just picked up! He is actually married to a member and he isn't a member of the church. He has come to church though and is wanting to be able to be the best example he can be to his future family. We went over and got to know him and teach him a little and he is super willing and excited to learn. Me and my companion feel really good about him and are excited to go back and teach him!! So amazing to see that he doesnt really know much about the church but that he wants to learn and make it to the temple one day so that he can be with his family forever. So amazing!

 

 

We had this really big multi cultural event happen at the stake centre on Saturday and it was so much fun! I ate alot of good food that's for sure. Haven't felt that full in a long time aha! I tried some new things and even got this awesome ring! It's definitely gonna be a great mission treasure(:

 

 

Tomorrow is zone conference and I get to give a training! Basically for 5 minutes I get to teach a big group of missionary about the topic I've been given so right now I'm kinda franticly preparing that so that'll be part of why my email might be a little short! It's kinda nerve-racking but hey it'll be a good experience and we will hopefully get to all learn from it! 

 

 

Zone conferences are a great experience we get to hear from our mission president and other missionaries! It's a great learning opportunity and I look forward to hearing from everyone!

 

 

Yesterday we had some people we are teaching come to church for the first time and they loved it!! It was awesome to see them finally make it to church and be able to feel the special spirit that is at church!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
