Covering Two Areas

What a week it has been wowza we got our new companions and turns out that the one I was put with was actually in the hospital SO I didn't have a companion to be with... It was crazy no one told me what or where to go so I took matters into my own hands and I met up with some elders near my area and said I'm with you guys.

What this means is this week we have been covering two areas so my space just like tripled that I cover and we don't have a car.. It's all been on foot and with the help from the members we have been able to attempt to serve all the people we have. It as been stressful at times but it has been so amazing to see the members of the wards be willing to jump in and help us out with rides and such. Even on Sunday we had so much church to go to so whag ended up happening is we went on splits with members and I had a member of the stake be my companion and we went to church. It was so different that's for sure but really cool. It's not a common thing for sure

So my actual companion is okay he is recovering right now and should be good to go on Friday so I am super excited to start working with him. I got to meet him today and see how he's doing which was way cool and just really fun for him and us as well!!

Saying goodbye to my trainer was tough but that's how it goes we get to meet and grow with these amazing people and then we have to leave them but I know we will be able to see each other again.

The two companions that I paired up with are the best. One is from olds Alberta and the other was from the MTC! He came out with me and I got to know him in the MTC really well SO it has been a blast to serve with these amazing guys!

It snowed alot this week so that ment alot of shoveling peoples driveways and helping them out that way. The snow is super heavy so it was definitely helpful for those people who already have a hard time with shoveling the drive way. We also had interviews with our president which was amazing I love to meet iwth him he is such a great guy and is a blessing to get to know him more and more. Miricle that happened was we were about to leave this apartment complex and we ran into this family that was bringing stuff into their house. We asked if we could help and we did. Turned out that they aren't members of the church but wanted to learn more.

This week has been all about service r and we even found people to teach through service which was amazing. The lord will bless us when we are in the service of others. Truly a blessing for sure. Hope you all have a good week!!
