Mission Farewell

I know I didn't email you all last week but that's because we had our temple trip this week so we had pday today!!

 

 

This will be a bit of a shorter one since not to much happened but hey you'll hear from soon since pday is on monday from now on aha. We got to go to the temple as I said and it was AMAZING I love the temple it is such a blessing to be able to go. I was actually able to take a family name so I have a pic of how we are related it was super cool experience and the temple is just so beautiful. I love going there!!

 

 

We had zone Conference last week which was amazing we got to hear from President Hillier which is always a blessing for sure he is so amazing and I love when we get to hear from him!!

 

 

We also had a really awesome experience where we had a mission farewell!! On Sunday we heard him talk and he just left today actually! He is Spanish speaking in Boise Idaho and we worked with him to get him prepped for the mission. It was really cool experience for me since the elders back home did it and they were super helpful plus I'm new so I can kinda get home prepared aha!

 

 

We have a baptism this Saturday and are super excited we can't wait Jossleyn is so prepared and ready for it!! It will be a great day, that's all I got sorry it's short it's short but I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
