Dinner At John Bytheway's House!

Only been a few short days from my last email but hey it's been very eventful that's for sure!!

 

 

Saturday we had Josselyn baptism and it was so amazing!! She was super excited to be baptized and the spirit was strong and she had an amazing experience. We all had some nice refreshments too after since she wanted all of us to kinda have a get together after so that was fun! Then on Sunday I had the amazing opportunity to confirm her in sacrament meeting. It was kinda scary since it was I front of everyone but hey it went well. The mic wasn't working so I had to tell really loud aha but it all worked out!

 

 

Then later that night we had dinner at John Bytheways house! It was really great I never thought to see the day were I'd be having dinner in there home but hey it was great! We then went over to a youth fireside that was put on by.... John Bytheway and jt was soooooo good I learnt a lot a out the theme this year and it was also just really entertaining he is such a great speaker! Then afterwards we ended up going over to the Bytheways and had cake with everyone aha it was just a bytheway niht I guess but it was amazing night!!

 

 

Today was lots of fun we went on the same hike that me and Elder Kennedy went on about 2 weeks ago except this time it was with out district so that was lots better plus it was clear outside so we were actually able to see the view!! It was so beautiful we can see our whole mission from there which is super cool!! Then we went to this place called Tony burger which is so good my favorite burger place so far on the mission!!

 

 

That's all for this week not much other then that we have transfers coming up this week and we will find out Sunday night so hey maybe I stay maybe I'll go but itll be one of them ahah you never know with transfers they are so unpredictable that's for sure!

Scavenger Hunt

This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
