Temple Square

Cant believe it's already pday today! Time literally is flying by! Had another great week we went bowling today for pday and I got a Turkey! Guess I'm a really good bowler aha its been fun to get to know everyone here all the elders are great!

 

 

This week we had zone Conference so we got to listen to our President which is always amazing. He has so much good insights and things to say I love listening to him. We had lunch to and it was so good. Nice to see some people from the MTC. This week we have a Christmas devotional and I'm super excited. I get to see some good friends from the MTC and I cant wait.

 

 

A really cool experience we had this week was we had a lesson with this lady who has been hard to commit to stuff. We have had lots of elders teach her but she's been having a hard time keeping commitments. We had our first lessons with her and we felt like we should put her on date for baptism! She said she would and that she wants to be baptized. The tough thing is she is trying to quit smoking and that's been tough. She came to church though which was so amazing! We are excited for her!

 

 

We also got to take a family we are teaching to temple square it was so amazing! We talked about families and showed them all the lights. They really loved the temple and want to go back! They're on date for baptism and we are do excited for them and their progression! 

 

 

The temple truly is a beautiful place and I love to be able to go there with the people we are teaching!

 

 

We also got to go caroling this week and it was super cool. I'll be honest it sounded not so good BUT we brought the spirit into people's homes and met some cool people! We met a guy who collects coke products. He has come everywhere it's crazy! Even a coke machine In his back yard! I got one from the machine it was so cool! He had all sorts of bottles and toys I just wanted to take pictures it was so cool! It definitely was another great week I hope you all are doing well and getting ready for Christmas! This was another great week here in Kemmerer Wyoming! We've been real busy all week. Tina is on date for this Saturday and man we are super excited. We spent some good time teaching and talking with her this week. She's way excited to which is super cool. It'll be a great week getting all that organized and ready. So that'll be keeping us busy this week.     We had a really cool activity on Wednesday with the youth! We all did a big service scavenger hunt around the area. It was lots of fun. We got to know more of the people around and just help people out. We even got to know some of the youth which was great.      We really are trying to work with them and help them prepare for missions! Let's see we also had some really good lessons with Diana. What A Week!

It was Christmas of course and I hope you all had a great Christmas I know j did(: The calls home were good and also all your Christmas greetings were greatly appreciated thank you(:     We had all our appointments fall through on the night of Christmas which I mean hey to be expected I guess. No worries there though we kept on working and are seeing the blessings there from that. We had to push our baptisms from last Saturday to this Saturday since there was lots of stress and such happening in the family. We want their baptism to be a stress free and good experience so we are excited for them this week.     We also picked up a new person who us really progressing. Its actually Yedis friend!! Yedi our recent convert has been telling is good friend about this amazing gospel. We went over to teach her and she is so amazing. Her name is Joslyn and she is so ready. She is very receptive to our lessons and is on date for baptism on the 26th of January!! We are so excited...

Quarantine Life

Hey Everyone hope you're staying safe and healthy! This virus certainly has taken the world by surprise but have no fear The Prophet of God is here!!     I love President Russell M. Nelson he is truly our Prophet here on the earth. This past week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from him and many other of the apostles of the church in General Conference. It was amazing we got to learn alot about the Restoration of the Gospel. Being the bicentennial of Joseph Smiths First Vision and really the Church being restored on the earth!
